Meet Jane Taylor — Isle of Skye Interpersonal Psychotherapist & Supervisor
Welcome! I’m Jane Taylor, an Accredited Interpersonal Psychotherapist and passionate advocate for emotional wellbeing. As a proud cat lover and someone who believes deeply in the healing power of nature, I followed my heart—and my late mother’s dream—by relocating to the beautiful Isle of Skye in 2023. Living close to the dramatic landscapes and natural beauty of Skye has brought me renewed clarity of mind, and I aim to share that sense of grounding and connection with my clients. I can see why my mother wanted to return to island after spending her early years here, this place is magical in every sense.
My journey to helping people began long before my mental health career—rooted in a decade spent teaching aerobics and working in the fitness industry. There, I saw first-hand how exercise, environment, and connection profoundly influence mood and quality of life. These early experiences sparked my lifelong interest in eating disorders along with my commitment to supporting others in finding clarity and resilience, especially when life feels overwhelming.
I have 15 years’ experience of working with people who have struggled with their eating difficulties, I see the same patterns again and know how to help you finally break free from those entrenched binge eating cycles. I personally find this one of the most rewarding parts of my job, I have helped many return to their lives of living and not just existing.
